The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia, under the 'Plan against burglary', has developed an investigation that has culminated with the arrest of four members of a criminal group dedicated to commit theft in cottages of Albudeite around.
The investigation began last January when agents specialized in public safety prevention detected committing several burglaries, some of them during the week and mainly in cottages Albudeite Township.
In the robberies had been stolen numerous items like appliances, tools and other household goods.
Modus operandi
The investigations carried out have established that the modus operandi used by the suspects had a common denominator: the type of homes raided, as most cottages were used during holiday periods or weekends and that were located in close proximity to areas domicile of the family clan.
On occasion they had even moved on foot to his own home stolen objects.
Thanks to the cooperation of citizens and the evidence obtained during the investigation, the Meritorious has identified all members of the extended family that formed the criminal group, as well as locate the property where they planned their criminal activity and stored the stolen objects marketed until on the illicit market.
Eight offenses of burglary in homes clarified
Once obtained all necessary evidence, the Civil Guard has conducted judicial approval, the entry and search of the two houses of Albudeite linked to clan, where effects have seized stolen and have arrested four members of the group, to which is attributed the authorship alleged eight offenses of burglary in homes.
Those arrested four Spaniards aged 18 to 47, with numerous precedents for similar events, the effects seized and the proceedings have been brought before the Court of Instruction No. 2 of Mula (Murcia).
The Civil Guard, within the 'Plan against burglary' preventive measures has increased surveillance of homes, mainly on those which, to be isolated, can be easily subject to property crimes.
