The Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries has begun repairing and improving the Camino de las Viñas, located in the municipality of Albudeite, with a budget of 43,500 euros, cofinanced 63 percent by the EAFRD.
This road has a length of 870 meters and an average width of 5.5 meters, connects with the regional road RM-351 and facilitates access to a population of 50 inhabitants residing in houses scattered from the place Cañada de Agustín and numerous farms of The community of irrigators Acequias Cara and Daya.
The actions envisaged include clearing the road margins, in a width of approximately 20 centimeters, to eliminate the vegetation that invades the roadway and cleaning the existing gutters.
In certain sections the firm will be improved by mechanical sweeping of the tread layer to remove residues of aggregates, earth, sealing of cracks and more significant cracks, and subsequent application of an irrigation of adhesion and construction of a layer of hot asphalt agglomerate Of 5 centimeters of thickness, compacted and leveled.
In other sections of the firm more damaged will proceed to milling the existing firm.
Vertical road signs will also be improved with the installation of nine new traffic signs.
PDR Works
These actions are included in the Phase II works project of the 2016 Call for Rural Development Program (PDR) for the period 2014-2020, with a budget of 711,000 euros, and an implementation period of five months, for A total of eight roads and 20,100 meters in length, located in the municipalities of Albudeite, Bullas, Cieza, Jumilla, Molina de Segura, Moratalla and Yecla.
These actions are carried out through direct investments from the Autonomous Community, co-financed by the European funds EAFRAD and by the Ministry of Agriculture.
