The Governing Council has given the green light to the signing of agreements between the Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure and the municipalities of Albudeite, Jumilla and Moratalla for system development to facilitate the geolocation of vacant homes in the region of Murcia.
To do this, they will join the network of municipalities that already integrate Information System Housing Murcia (Sivmurcia), promoted by the regional government, which collects and interrelates various data, such as consumption, for information needs of the housing sector.
This is available to the public administrations, other institutions and the general public accurate information about the housing sector to enable strategic planning in this area.
The Sivmurcia geoportal is integrated into the Territorial Information System Sitmurcia and interrelated with various data, allowing the development of diagnostic analysis and as a basis for drafting plans and strategies.
Among its main objectives it is to obtain information from state housing stock, in terms of aging and conservation, and incorporate information supply and demand for housing.
Today, a total of 37 municipalities have joined the Sivmurcia and collaborate with the Ministry on this matter (Abanilla, Abarán, Eagles, Aledo, Alguazas, Archena, Beniel, White, Bullas, Calasparra, Campos del Rio, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cartagena, Cehegín, Ceuta, Cieza, Fortuna, Fuente Alamo, Las Torres de Cotillas, La Union, Librilla, Lorca, Lorquí, Los Alcázares, Mula, Murcia, Pliego, Puerto Lumbreras, Ricote, San Javier, Santomera, Torre Pacheco, Ulea and Villanueva del Río Segura, who now Albudeite, Jumilla and Moratalla add).
