So far, three criminal acts have been clarified
During the investigation all the stolen effects have been recovered, which have already been returned to their owners
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation to clarify several robberies committed in housing Albudeite, which has culminated with the identification, location and detention of two people as alleged authors of at least three crimes and recovery of the all the effects stolen in the clarified criminal acts, which have already been returned to their legitimate owners.
Effective Prevention of Citizen Security of the Benemérita began the investigation late last year, after detecting an increase in the commission of robberies with force in Albudeite housing, events that had generated some social alarm.
The first investigations were carried out in the assaulted dwellings, where exhaustive technical-ocular inspections were carried out, as well as other procedures, in order to know the modus operandi used and the identity of the authors of the robberies.
The analysis made of the evidence obtained allowed to verify that all the events were perpetrated in hours coinciding with a brief absence of the residents of the dwelling, which made us suspect that the authors would have carried out a prior surveillance of the area and its possible objectives, what allowed them to know in advance the different dependencies of the house, the number of inhabitants and the characteristics of the possible stolen objects.
In addition to the work of investigation, before the increase of robberies, in parallel the Civil Guard established a series of prevention devices for citizen security in order to avoid the commission of more crimes and, where appropriate, frustrate them.
As a result of the investigation, the civil guards were able to determine that the authors of the robberies allegedly were two local residents, a man and a woman with a history of similar crimes, so the line of research on these was oriented .
Once all the necessary evidence has been obtained and its participation in the robberies has been verified, the Civil Guard established a search device on the suspects that has culminated with its location, arrest and subsequent judicial recourse as alleged perpetrators of robbery with force.
The investigation shows that those arrested now, residing in the town, were perfectly aware of the habits of their neighbors, which would have allowed them to conduct a thorough and effective surveillance of the homes to be assaulted without arousing suspicion.
The development of the operation has made it possible to clarify, up to now, three robbery crimes committed by those now arrested, as well as to recover the totality of the effects stolen in these criminal acts, which, after being brought to justice, have been returned to its rightful owners.
The Spanish detainees, aged 26 and 46, residents of Albudeite and with a history of similar crimes, the effects recovered and the proceedings ordered have been made available to the Magistrate's Court of Mula (Murcia).
