The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation to identify the participants in a tumultuous riot that took place at dawn on Sunday, the 20th, during the development of the San Isidro festival in the municipality of Albudeite that has been settled with the arrest of a person as alleged perpetrator of the crimes of injury and public disorder.
Among the several dozen people allegedly involved in the fight, seven have been investigated as alleged perpetrators of public disorder and another 10 have been proposed for administrative sanctions.
The events took place at dawn last Sunday, day 20, when the Civil Guard was alerted to a fight in the Plaza España in Albudeite, where the festival was held on the occasion of the San Isidro festival.
A Corps patrol moved to the place, where it observed a large group of people in an aggressive attitude, so, while the reinforcement of other border units was requested, the agents required the presence of sanitary services while trying to mediate between the individuals who maintained the dispute.
At first several injured people were located, although one of them had serious prognosis lesions in one arm, so she was evacuated to the Virgen de La Arrixaca Hospital in Murcia, where she remained admitted to be operated surgically for various fractures. .
The coordination of different patrols of the Benemérita and the Local Police of Albudeite allowed to reestablish the public order and to dissuade the violent attitude of the group of people several tens who was in the place.
The research work developed below, through the testimony of witnesses and the obtaining of images from video surveillance cameras, allowed identifying a person with a bulky criminal history as the alleged perpetrator of the attack that caused serious injuries to one of the victims.
Last Tuesday, day 22, the Civil Guard located and arrested the suspect, who is attributed the alleged responsibility for the crimes of injuries and public disorder.
Seven other people, allegedly involved in the altercation, have been investigated as alleged perpetrators of crime of public disorder.
So far, the investigation has allowed the identification of another 10 people, who have been proposed for sanction under Organic Law 4/2015, of March 30, for the protection of citizen security.
Apparently, the quarrel could have originated after one of those involved poured the contents of a glass over another of those present in the place, which led to a discussion that degenerated in subsequent events.
The investigation continues open so the identification and investigation of others involved is not ruled out.
